Wheels Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of EFA Chassis Systems from initial specifications through validation to series introduction.
• Spearhead CAD design and development within the Wheels team, ensuring smooth project progression.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet project milestones.
• Utilise analysis and simulation, as well as physical component and vehicle testing, to validate chassis systems.
• Manage and analyse data, producing insightful reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.

Key Skills:

• A full driving licence and willingness to conduct safe vehicle tests in various environments.
• Experience in design and development of chassis systems such as wheels, steering, axles, and brakes.
• Proficiency in Catia 2D/3D CAD software, with the ability to design check and release drawings.
• A strong technical background in the automotive industry, with an understanding of engineering specifications and material standards.
• Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to lead design reviews and influence colleagues across various teams.
• An Engineering Degree or equivalent is preferable.
