Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of corporate wellbeing strategies, policies, procedures, and practices.
- Audit against the British Safety Council 5 Star Occupational Wellbeing specification and provide recommendations.
- Identify and evaluate potential risks, providing solutions to mitigate them effectively.
- Collaborate with clients to promote a culture of safety, wellbeing, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and deliver reports with detailed findings, recommendations, and best practices.
- Stay informed about industry trends and legislative changes related to workplace health, safety, and wellbeing.
- Support the design and delivery of wellbeing initiatives.
Key Skills:
- Relevant qualifications in Wellbeing.
- Relevant qualifications in Health and Safety or working towards them.
- Lead Auditor qualification.
- Experience in undertaking internal or external auditing.
- Practical experience in wellbeing and/or Health and Safety, preferably in a workplace setting.
- Strong knowledge of current wellbeing best practices.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Role Overview
As a global leader in occupational health, safety and wellbeing, British Safety Council supports organisations worldwide through training, consultancy and auditing services. We are looking to work with experienced Wellbeing Consultants based in the UK who bring a proactive, collaborative approach and a genuine passion for wellbeing and workplace safety. The role may involve work across the UK and internationally, supporting clients to develop and embed best practice in wellbeing, health and safety. The role includes providing consultancy and support to clients to strengthen their wellbeing, health and safety strategies, standards, policies and provisions. You will also deliver training, facilitate workshops and conduct our Five Star Best Practice Audits. In addition, there will be opportunities to further your professional and personal development through speaking engagements, industry platforms and contributions to our thought leadership and think tank activities.
Key areas of work
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of corporate wellbeing strategies, policies, procedures, and practices across a range of organisations in the UK and/or globally through the prism of Health and Safety.
- Audit against the unique British Safety Council 5 Star Occupational Wellbeing specification and provide insightful recommendations to clients to add value to their people investments and drive wellbeing, health and safety standards.
- Identify and evaluate potential risks, providing solutions to mitigate these effectively.
- Collaborate with clients to support the promotion of a culture of safety, wellbeing, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and deliver reports with detailed findings, recommendations, and best practices.
- Stay informed about industry trends and legislative changes related to workplace health, safety and wellbeing.

Essential Qualifications, Skills and Attributes
- Relevant qualifications in Wellbeing
- Relevant qualifications in Health and Safety or working towards.
