Summary: The role involves hiring experienced Welders for contract work across various heavy engineering and construction sites in the UK. Key Responsibilities:

We are currently looking for Welders to join one of our clients on a contract basis.
Working on a variety of heavy engineering/engineering construction sites around the UK.
The client is a market-leading manufacturer, supplier and installer of specialist rotating equipment to a range of industry sectors including heavy engineering, power generation and petro-chemical.
The role will include carrying out a range of welding duties on equipment such as fans, air heaters and other types of equipment on site. The welding is mainly Manual Metal Arc (Stick) welding. Sites are based around the the UK
Applicants must be experienced Welders with a proven track record of stick welding to a high standard (preferably coded or previously coded) and will have ideally worked within a heavy engineering/engineering construction environment. The ability to read and understand engineering drawings is preferable. Previous experience of working away on site is preferred as is experience of working in heavy engineering and construction environments. A relevant recognised qualification is also desirable although not essential.
A current CCNSG Site Safety Passport is essential, as is proof of confined space and manual handling training
NEACI “Blue Book” rates will apply to this welding role which will include overtime, travel expenses, accommodation and travel time.
