Welder

Summary: The Welder will perform high-quality cladding on machined parts, focusing on Gas and Steam turbine repairs while adhering to production schedules. The role requires independent work and flexibility between shifts. Responsibilities include inspections, reading engineering drawings, and executing various welding procedures. A strong emphasis is placed on safety and environmental policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing visual and in-process inspections in accordance with API and ISO quality specifications
• Reading and understanding engineering drawings & specifications
• Overlay of components using Tig & MiG per weld procedures
• Setting up and welding components within the parameters of the specific weld procedure
• Detailing grinding of components after weld repairs
• Adhering to Company Safety and Environmental policies

Key Skills:

• High School Diploma or equivalent diploma
• 7+ years of welding experience
• Experience using foot control tig and MiG machines
• Experience with SMAW & GMAW welding procedures preferred
• Experience in manual TIG welding
• Advanced degree can be substituted for experience
