Summary: The role of WebSphere Application Server Administrator requires a subject matter expert in enterprise systems with advanced skills in administering WebSphere Application Server and cloud systems, including Azure, AWS, and Google. The candidate should possess hands-on experience in multi-tier and multi-platform enterprise environments and be prepared for on-call duties. The position is based in Columbus, OH, and is on-site. Key Responsibilities:
- Administer WebSphere Application Server and cloud systems (Azure, AWS, Google).
- Perform upgrades, patches, and security fixes for WebSphere.
- Monitor application and system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes.
- Collaborate with development teams to design, deploy, and maintain applications.
- Manage containerized applications in cloud environments.
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to infrastructure alerts.
- Communicate with clients to ensure satisfaction and coordinate releases with stakeholders.
