Summary: The Website Experience Manager role at Legal & General involves developing and delivering an exceptional online customer experience for both B2B and D2C websites. This position requires collaboration with marketing and optimization teams to enhance website journeys and content while ensuring compliance with company policies. The role is a 12-month fixed-term contract aimed at supporting the company's commercial objectives and customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building and updating digital content using Episerver CMS following brand guidelines to support appropriate commercial targets
  • Developing verbal and written briefs from Marketing and PR colleagues into appropriate content to support their activities and objectives
  • Proactively working with the Marketing and Optimisation teams to deliver great website journeys, content, and experiences
  • Writing, producing, and updating relevant digital marketing material, content pages and optimising the site
  • Ensuring that appropriate tracking is in place on any content created
  • Developing, monitoring, and reporting on content engagement and success metrics, feeding results into marketing strategy and the formulation of campaigns
  • Ensuring that all content created adheres to our relevant policies and procedures and is within our risk 'appetite'. Manage it through our strict compliance and approvals workflow
  • Contributing to a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture

Key Skills:

  • Strategic and creative thinker with excellent attention to detail with strong written English skills - able to spot spelling and punctuation errors
  • SEO, UX and journey optimisation knowledge and application of best practice
  • Basic Photoshop skills for resizing images
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Good with people and able to communicate and work collaboratively with a range of different stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects to tight timescales whilst keeping stakeholders updated on status
  • Appropriate standards, legislation, web best practices usability & research techniques
  • Able to adapt to and work with change, in a fast-growing division and marketing function
  • Significant hands-on experience using a CMS to build webpages. Episerver experience advantageous
  • Prior experience using an analytics package, especially Adobe Analytics, would be helpful
  • Previous relevant experience working in Financial Services
  • Experience working with agile processes and delivery
  • Good knowledge and experience of campaign planning, management and evaluation and experience of working with a brand and to brand guidelines
  • Experience of working collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams
