WebMethods + Java Full Stack Developer - AWS

The Role

We are looking for an experienced WebMethods + Java Full Stack Developer with strong AWS experience to develop and support enterprise integration and cloud-based applications.

This is a hands-on development role. Candidates must have substantial commercial WebMethods experience alongside strong Java Full Stack development skills.

MUST-HAVE EXPERIENCE

• 7-8 years' professional software development experience
• Strong hands-on WebMethods Integration Server (IS)
• Flow Services
• File Processing - essential
• WebMethods Designer/Developer
• SOAP & REST API integrations
• Trading Networks (TN), Universal Messaging (UM) and API Gateway
• Java 8/11/17
• Spring/Spring Boot
• Microservices & REST APIs
• Angular or React
• AWS - hands-on experience with services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, IAM, SNS/SQS
• SQL and database performance tuning
• CI/CD using tools such as Jenkins/Git
• Docker/Kubernetes
• Agile/Scrum

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain WebMethods enterprise integrations.
• Build Flow Services and file-processing solutions.
• Develop Java/Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs.
• Design and support AWS cloud solutions.
• Integrate applications, databases and third-party systems.
• Optimise database queries and application performance.
• Support CI/CD, deployments and production troubleshooting.
• Work with Architects, QA, DevOps, BAs and other engineering teams.

Desirable

• Apache Flink/ETL
• Banking or Financial Services experience
• EDI - X12/EDIFACT
• AWS certification
• Enterprise cloud migration experience

Important Requirements: 5 days onsite in Glasgow is mandatory.
