Summary: Positive Employment is seeking a Web Digital Producer for a local government organization in Kensington, London. The role involves managing the end-to-end user journey for digital services, ensuring content is effectively presented. This is a 3-month hybrid contract with potential for permanent placement. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing user experience through digital initiatives and website content management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish, clarify and document the required user experience, users' characteristics and tasks, and identify the best format to provide information about Council services and online transactions.
  • Take the leading role in the iterative design/development of user tasks, interaction and interfaces to meet user requirements, considering the whole user experience, refining the design solutions in response to user-centred evaluation.
  • Review and challenge business processes and recommend changes that maximise use of digital initiatives.
  • Support the organisation's Website Improvement Project team by deleting, condensing, curating, publishing and maintaining website content, ensuring it meets the Local Government Digital Service Standard (LGDSS), the Government Design Principles and Web Content Accessibility Standards.

Key Skills:

  • Previous local government or similar organisation experience beneficial.
  • Educated to bachelor degree level or holds a relevant professional qualification.
  • Shows a systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving and pays close attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates a concern and aptitude for considering the user's perspective in IT development.
  • Is expert in the methods and techniques for eliciting the context of use, user needs, analysing context of use and generating user requirements. Is familiar with tools for representing system requirements.

Salary (Rate): £34.48 hourly

Positive Employment is currently recruiting for a Web Digital Producer for our client a local government organisation in Kensington, London.

The successful candidate will work on the end-to-end journey of a service to help users complete their goal through the creation of, or change to, a webpage, website, transaction or software application to make sure content is shown to a user in the right place and in the best format.

This role is a 3 month contract with the possibility to extend. The role will be conducted via hybrid working with 3 days a week in the office.

The position will be made permanent in time and there will be an opportunity for post holders to apply for the permanent role.

Working Hours: 36hrs/9:00am - 17:00pm/Monday to Friday
