Job Title: Web Application Developer (Part-Time, 20 hours/month)Department: Analytical R&D, SandwichJob Description:Pfizer's Analytical R&D department is seeking a part-time Web Application Developer to support and enhance the GA Groton Resource Optimization Workload Management and Analysis Tool (GROWMAT) database system. This role involves troubleshooting, developing new features, and maintaining/improving end-user documentation for GROWMAT.As a Web Application Developer, you will work closely with a Pfizer point of contact (PPOC) to identify and implement required bug fixes and features. The focus will be on collaboration with the PPOC rather than direct interaction with end-users to ensure effective communication of activities.Key Responsibilities:Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the GROWMAT system.Develop new features and enhancements for the GROWMAT application.Maintain and improve end-user documentation related to GROWMAT.Collaborate closely with the PPOC to identify and prioritize tasks.Ensure clear and effective communication of development activities.Required Skills and Qualifications:Proficiency in Julia, React, Next.js, and Postgres/SQL.Experience with Nginx and Ofelia is desirable.Experience producing training materials in various formats.Familiarity with Pfizer enterprise systems such as Clementine and Labware LIMS is a plus.Knowledge of the GROWMAT application is highly advantageous.Ideal Candidate Profile:Strong background in web application development with experience in the required technologies.Previous experience working within a pharmaceutical or similar regulated environment.Ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication with team members.
