Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and delivery-focused Project Manager to lead key initiatives within a large transformation programme.

The role is responsible for end-to-end project delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk and stakeholder expectations are effectively managed in a safety-critical industry environment.

Contract: 3 to 6 months

Location: Waterside(UB7 0GB)

Hybrid: 2-3 days onsite

Pay: attractive daily rate (Inside IR35)

Project Leadership & Delivery

• Lead projects from initiation through implementation and closure.
• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones and delivery roadmaps.
• Coordinate resources, suppliers and delivery teams.
• Drive delivery against agreed timelines and objectives.

Planning & Controls

• Manage project RAID and change control.
• Monitor dependencies and critical path activities.
• Work with PMO to align reporting and governance.

Commercial Management

• Support supplier and commercial management.

Governance & Assurance

• Prepare status reports and governance packs.
• Ensure compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements.
• Support delivery reviews and assurance activities.

Stakeholder Management

• Build relationships across business, operational and technical teams.
• Facilitate workshops and governance meetings.
• Manage communications and stakeholder expectations.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience delivering projects as part of large transformation initiatives.
• Project management qualification such as PRINCE2, PMP or APM desirable.
• Experience of enterprise system delivery/transformation initiatives desirable.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in regulated or safety-critical environments preferred.
