Warehouse Operative

Summary: The Warehouse Operative role involves supporting the export and logistics team in a busy manufacturing facility, focusing on stock control and shipping operations. Key tasks include picking and packing orders, coordinating goods receipts, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The position requires a counterbalance forklift truck license and experience in a similar environment. The working hours are Monday to Thursday from 08:00 to 16:30 and Friday from 08:00 to 14:30.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the export and logistics team with day-to-day stock control and shipping.
• Pick and pack customer orders accurately.
• Coordinate all goods-in receipts and liaise with other departments.
• Work with the logistics team to meet on-time shipment deadlines.
• Utilize ERP inventory system for managing stock.
• Assist with daily and weekly shipments.
• Support 6S and housekeeping in accordance with safety and hygiene standards.

Key Skills:

• Experience in a warehouse environment.
• Counterbalance forklift truck license (essential).
• Experience with combi-lift forklift truck (desirable).
• IT and communication skills.
