Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with client contacts.
  • Act as a client contact point for users both onshore and offshore.
  • Manage inventory focusing on processing work orders, stock movements, and returns.
  • Coordinate work orders for shipping with the sailing schedule.
  • Arrange transportation, inspection, repair, or relocation of inventory.
  • Ensure stock accuracy by operating the SAP system.
  • Pack material compliant with shipping requirements.
  • Complete CST for material being shipped offshore.
  • Perform air-freight manifesting and ad-hoc duties as required.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping and health & safety standards.

Key Skills:

  • Standard Grades/National 5 (or equivalent).
  • 0-5T and 5-15T Counterbalance Forklift Truck certification.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Solutions-based with strong planning and organizing skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing workloads.
  • Knowledge of Oil Spill Response, Dangerous Goods Awareness, and COSHH.

We are currently recruiting a Warehouse Operative on behalf of our client based in Dyce on a 6 month full time contract.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with client contacts to assist with the efficient operation of the PO receipts, storage, maintenance and preparation for shipment functions in line with agreed procedures
  • Act as a client contact point for users both onshore and offshore, responding quickly and accurately to issues/queries raised
  • Inventory management focusing on processing work orders, stock movements, returns, items for repair and scrap disposals
  • Coordinate work orders for shipping with the sailing schedule, ensuring timely processing
  • Arrange transportation, inspection, repair or relocation of inventory where required
  • Deliver stock accuracy by operation of the SAP system
  • Stock counting of inventory held, investigating discrepancies highlighted by the process
  • Pack material and ensure it is compliant with shipping requirements of Client and Asco
  • Arrange material to be sent to quayside for onward shipment
  • Complete CST for material being shipped offshore
  • Air-freight manifesting
  • Ad-hoc duties as required in line with applicable training/competency assessments undertaken.
  • Follow up in a professional manner any customer question, query or task within timescales identified.

Health & Safety

  • Personal responsibility for undertaking LSI's.
  • Ensure excellent house-keeping is maintained across the site at all times, with clear segregation between people and plant.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Standard Grades/ National 5 (or equivalent)
  • 0-5T Counterbalance Forklift Truck
  • 5-15T Counterbalance Forklift Truck
