Summary: The Warehouse Production Coordinator role involves providing tactical Supply Chain support for UK Aircraft activities, ensuring compliance with safety and security procedures while maintaining inventory accuracy. The position requires effective communication and collaboration with various stakeholders to support business needs and improve processes. The coordinator will also mentor junior team members and develop key performance indicators to measure performance. This is a 12-month contract position with a focus on operational excellence within the warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy of items.
  • Report, communicate, and escalate non-conformances.
  • Store materials in designated locations within the warehouse.
  • Pick, pack, and ship orders to customers in a timely manner.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Conduct distribution activities in line with Supply Chain processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and security procedures.
  • Keep the warehouse clean and organized in accordance with 6S and Boeing Policy.
  • Assist with other warehouse & distribution duties as required.
  • Maintain and store accurate records for auditing purposes.
  • Prioritize tasks to best support business needs.
  • Support Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) for spares that fail their Required Delivery Date (RDD).
  • Develop and maintain relationships with support organizations.
  • Review and amend Processes and Procedures as needed.
  • Undertake training and qualifications as required by the business.
  • Mentor junior team members in Supply Chain Best Practices.
  • Develop and support KPI Metrics to measure performance.
  • Provide SME guidance and support for long-range Programme requirements.
  • Host meetings pertinent to the success of assigned RAAs.
  • Support ad-hoc tasks allocated by management.
  • Provide out of hours service as required.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in Supply Chain management and warehouse operations.
  • Proficiency in operating material handling equipment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain inventory accuracy and conduct audits.
  • Knowledge of safety and security procedures in a warehouse environment.
  • Experience in mentoring and training junior staff.
  • Ability to develop and analyze KPI metrics.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to support RCCA processes.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
