Summary: The London Borough of Waltham Forest is looking for two Senior Occupational Therapists to join their Adult Services, specifically in the Adults Community OT Team and Home Adaptations Team. These roles involve conducting complex assessments and delivering occupational therapy interventions to promote independence and wellbeing among adults. Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake complex assessments and develop intervention plans for adults with a wide range of physical and functional needs
• Deliver timely and effective occupational therapy interventions in the community
• Support delivery of Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) adaptations and moving & handling solutions
• Work closely with clients, carers, and multi-disciplinary teams to promote independence and wellbeing
• Contribute to team priorities including managing high-risk referrals and reducing waiting times

Key Skills:

• HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
• Extensive post-qualification experience, ideally within community or housing adaptation settings
• Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience handling complex cases and contributing to service targets
