Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize and maintain web applications.
• Support junior engineers through pair programming and foster a collaborative environment.
• Design, develop, and test software components using proven software engineering practices.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Work to agreed security standards and specifications, documenting new or refactored code.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience with Python and web frameworks such as Django and Django REST Framework.
• Experience with JavaScript libraries like React and server-side languages like Node.js.
• Fundamental knowledge of OOP concepts, SOLID, and DRY principles.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and ability to write efficient SQL queries.
• Experience in writing unit tests, functional tests, and E2E tests.
• Familiarity with CI/CD systems such as CircleCI and GitHub Actions.
• Strong diplomacy, influencing, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Wagtail CMS for managing content-rich websites.
