Summary: The role is for an experienced Python Developer with SC Clearance, tasked with optimizing and maintaining web applications in a hybrid working environment. The position involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and supporting junior engineers through pair programming. The candidate will design, develop, and test software components while adhering to security standards. This is an initial 6-month contract with a focus on best practices in Python development.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize and maintain web applications.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience with Python and web frameworks such as Django and Django REST Framework.
• Experience with JavaScript libraries such as React or server-side languages like Node.js.
• Fundamental knowledge of OOP concepts, SOLID, and DRY principles.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and ability to write efficient SQL queries.
• Experience in writing unit tests, functional tests, and E2E tests.
• Familiarity with CI/CD systems such as CircleCI and GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Wagtail CMS for managing content-rich websites.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
