Vulnerability Management Analyst

Summary: The Vulnerability Analyst role involves managing vulnerability exceptions and enhancing governance within a large enterprise environment. The position requires assessing and processing requests related to high and critical risks, as well as supporting the exception management process in accordance with established policies. This is a hybrid role based in Reading, with a contract duration of four months. The role is classified as inside IR35 with a competitive daily rate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and process vulnerability exception requests, focusing on high/critical risks
• Perform risk-based analysis to support exception decisions
• Review and challenge submissions, ensuring clear justification and remediation plans
• Track and report on exception status, ageing, and risk exposure
• Support the exception management process in line with vulnerability policies and standards
