Summary: The Voice Recording Engineer role is focused on managing and enhancing voice recording systems within contact centres and trading environments. The position requires expertise in Verint WFO v15 and involves overseeing the recording and transcription of calls, as well as leading infrastructure upgrades. This critical role ensures compliance, reliability, and performance of voice recording technologies. The position is based in either Sheffield or Birmingham and requires three days of on-site work per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain all voice recording technologies, with a focus on Verint WFO v15.
  • Oversee the recording and transcription of phone calls across various business units.
  • Lead a major Verint Evergreening Project, upgrading Legacy Servers to the latest infrastructure.
  • Execute server refreshes and ensure high availability of recording systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across compliance, operations, and IT to meet regulatory and business needs.
  • Provide Level 3 support for complex voice recording and infrastructure issues.
  • Maintain and monitor hardware, software, and network components supporting voice recording.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience with Verint WFO v15 in a contact centre environment.
  • Strong understanding of voice recording infrastructure, including Servers, storage, and telephony integration.
  • Experience supporting trading floor environments is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements (eg, FCA, MiFID II) for voice recording in regulated industries.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
