Summary: The Voice Network Engineer role is a long-term contract position based in Brighton, focusing on enhancing telephony infrastructure within the financial services sector. The engineer will support and manage high-availability telephony systems, collaborate with global teams, and handle various technical tasks related to voice networks. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and manage high-availability telephony systems using AudioCodes and Oracle SBCs
- Handle SIP routing, voice infrastructure changes, and integrate with monitoring tools like Grafana and ThousandEyes
- Work with telephony carriers for support and escalation
- Enhance hybrid cloud voice networks integrating CCaaS/UCaaS platforms
- Collaborate and communicate across business units
- Conduct root cause analysis and maintain strong cybersecurity awareness
- Follow Agile methodology and use ServiceNow for incident/change management
Key Skills:
- Strong knowledge of SIP and carrier network operations
- Hands-on experience with Oracle/AudioCodes SBCs, voice routing platforms, APIs, and data manipulation
- Networking and security skills (Network+ / CCNA level)
- Experience in documentation, knowledge sharing, and working independently
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

The successful Voice Network Engineer will focus on supporting and enhancing telephony infrastructure, including working on tickets (ServiceNow), projects, and collaborating with global teams and carriers.
