Beyond the Barricade are looking for a soprano vocalist to join their UK Tour for some dates in 2025 and the full UK Tour in 2026. The applicant must have West End or Broadway credits. The Tour in 2026 will be around 70 concerts, so the position will suit someone who has reached the stage of their performing careers where they are happy to be out 'on the road' for some of the time. We would discourage anyone from applying who would see it as a 'filler' job while they are looking for a long West End or equivalent contract. A leading candidate for this job will be able to handle roles such as Christine in Phantom of the Opera and Cosette in Les Miserables. They will also have a decent ability to 'belt' too as the concert is a mix of different styles. We are looking for someone to take over some dates from September to December 2025, and then the full tour in 2026. Beyond the Barricade is an established fixture on the UK Touring circuit and is now in its 26th Year of touring. We have a small but dedicated team who work on the show and it is a very enjoyable 'family' atmosphere to be a part of. All of the logistics for touring are taken care of regarding accommodation and any flights which are necessary. In many cases transport is also provided but it may be useful to have the freedom to drive on some occasions. The position is classed as self-employed.
