Summary: The role of VMware VRA/VRO Consultant/Architect involves joining a leading independent VMware specialist in the UK on a contract basis. The consultant will enhance and operate the cloud management and automation platform, requiring extensive experience in automation DC solutions, particularly with vSphere, vRA, and vRO. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance the existing cloud management and automation platform.
• Operate the platform on a day-to-day basis, including resolving issues and problems.
• Provide expertise in automation DC solutions based on vSphere, vRA, and vRO.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure effective cloud connectivity and CMDB operations.

Key Skills:

• Excellent knowledge of VRO (8x).
• Good/Excellent knowledge of VRA 8.
• Good/Excellent scripting skills (Shell, vRO, vCLI, PowerCLI, Unix/bash).
• Good/Excellent knowledge of Terraform.
• Broad knowledge of virtualization technologies.
• Good OS level knowledge in UNIX (RHEL 7/8) for problem analysis and tuning.
• Good understanding of the vSphere API.
