Summary: We are seeking a skilled VMware Consultant to join a major enterprise programme based on-site in Birmingham. The role focuses on ensuring platform stability across a complex virtualised environment while contributing to large-scale transformation and operational initiatives as part of a wider team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support a highly available VMware-based cloud infrastructure
- Ensure platform stability, performance, and security across production environments
- Provide operational support and incident resolution within agreed SLAs
- Collaborate with wider engineering and operations teams on large-scale infrastructure projects
- Support automation and optimisation initiatives across the platform
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of monitoring, logging, and network operations
