Summary: The role involves supporting a leading consultancy in delivering services to a major financial services client as part of a transformation programme. The position is for an experienced VMware Consultant on a 3-month contract basis, requiring expertise in VMware technologies and the ability to work in a fast-paced, enterprise-scale environment. The role offers hybrid working arrangements with occasional travel to London and Wiltshire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of services to a major financial services client.
- Join an established delivery team and contribute to a transformation programme.
- Utilize strong hands-on knowledge of VMware Aria Automation and Aria Orchestrator.
- Engage in private cloud architecture, automation, and orchestration.
- Deliver solutions in complex, regulated environments.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders effectively.
Key Skills:
- Strong hands-on knowledge of VMware Aria Automation (vRealize) and Aria Orchestrator.
- Background in private cloud architecture, automation, and orchestration.
- Experience with Terraform, Vault, Packer, Ansible, NSX-T.
- Confident in delivering into complex, regulated environments.
- Experience in a PSO, partner, or consulting role.
- Exposure to financial services or secure sectors is highly desirable.
- SC Clearance is a nice-to-have.

I'm supporting a leading consultancy that’s delivering into a major financial services client as part of an ongoing transformation programme – and they’re looking to bring in an experienced VMware Consultant on a contract basis. This is a 3-month initial contract, sitting outside IR35, with hybrid working and occasional travel to offices in London and Wiltshire. You’ll be joining an established delivery team, so they’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running in a fast-moving, enterprise-scale environment.
Key skills & experience:
- Strong hands-on knowledge of VMware Aria Automation (vRealize) and Aria Orchestrator
- Background in private cloud architecture, automation and orchestration
- Experience with Terraform, Vault, Packer, Ansible, NSX-T
- Confident delivering into complex, regulated environments
