Summary: We are looking for an experienced VCF Architect to join our team in Birmingham. The role involves supporting a VCF 9 programme through requirements gathering, design facilitation, and the creation of architectural artefacts for cloud capability delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in VMware Cloud Foundation and excellent stakeholder management skills. Security clearance (UK SC) is required for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate VCF 9 requirements gathering and design workshops
- Conduct cloud capability gap analysis
- Develop and maintain the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
- Produce the VCF 9 High-Level Design (HLD)
- Define and maintain a Cloud Capability backlog and roadmap
- Lead design review workshops and support iterative design improvements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment across technical and business requirements
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as an Architect within VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments
- Strong experience delivering high-level and solution architecture artefacts
- Experience conducting workshops, stakeholder engagement, and requirements analysis
- Familiarity with RTM development and backlog/roadmap planning
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles and enterprise-scale environments
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
