Summary: Methods is seeking two VMware Specialists for an ongoing project involving a discovery phase followed by a migration process. The initial phase will last 3 to 4 weeks during normal working hours, followed by a 3 to 4 month migration period that will occur out of hours at a Data Centre. The role requires in-depth knowledge of VMware technologies and networking security protocols. Candidates must be prepared for 8-hour shifts starting at 6 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct installation, configuration, and management of VMware vCenter and ESXi.
• Upgrade vCenter and ESXi versions from older, unsupported versions to the latest supported versions.
• Understand network configurations and security protocols, particularly in air-gapped environments.
• Utilize NSX-V and NSX-T for network virtualization and security.
• Ensure data integrity through proficient backup and recovery processes during upgrades.
• Create and verify backups prior to performing upgrades.
