Summary: The Visual Designer role involves creating innovative design solutions for small-screen devices and IoT technology within a Smoke-Free Products organization. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality visual concepts and maintain design systems. The designer will play a crucial role in driving social responsibility initiatives and ensuring a seamless user experience. The role is hybrid, requiring in-office collaboration twice a week in London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project goals and translate them into effective design solutions.
  • Create visual concepts, high-fidelity mockups, transitions, and animations, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
  • Show passion for industrial design and a deep understanding of the IoT technology landscape.
  • Develop a range of design alternatives and present insight-driven concepts to product owners.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented according to UI specifications and behaviors.
  • Create and maintain design systems to ensure consistency across all digital products.
  • Deliver high-quality designs within project deadlines, meeting both user and business objectives.
  • This is a hybrid role, requiring in-office collaboration twice a week at our studio near St. Paul's in central London.

Key Skills:

  • 5-8 years of experience in UI/UX design with a strong focus on visual design.
  • Proven experience as a Product Designer or similar role, supported by a strong portfolio of visually stunning and highly crafted designs.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and After Effects (knowledge of Keyshot is a plus).
  • Experience developing and maintaining design systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively.
  • Strong experience in mobile-focused design and responsive design principles.
  • Familiarity with user research and usability testing methodologies.
  • Ability to stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices, applying them to improve products.
  • Must be located in London and eligible to work in the UK.
