Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project goals and translate them into effective design solutions.
- Create visual concepts, high-fidelity mockups, transitions, and animations, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
- Show passion for industrial design and a deep understanding of the IoT technology landscape.
- Develop a range of design alternatives and present insight-driven concepts to product owners.
- Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented according to UI specifications and behaviors.
- Create and maintain design systems to ensure consistency across all digital products.
- Deliver high-quality designs within project deadlines, meeting both user and business objectives.
- This is a hybrid role, requiring in-office collaboration twice a week at our studio near St. Paul's in central London.
Key Skills:
- 5-8 years of experience in UI/UX design with a strong focus on visual design.
- Proven experience as a Product Designer or similar role, supported by a strong portfolio of visually stunning and highly crafted designs.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and After Effects (knowledge of Keyshot is a plus).
- Experience developing and maintaining design systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively.
- Strong experience in mobile-focused design and responsive design principles.
- Familiarity with user research and usability testing methodologies.
- Ability to stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices, applying them to improve products.
- Must be located in London and eligible to work in the UK.
