Summary: The role of VBA Developer involves joining a consultancy client’s End User Computing team within the financial services sector, focusing on developing and supporting Excel-based applications. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and support Excel-based end-user applications using VBA.
- Analyze requirements, design and document new IT solutions.
- Contribute to ongoing improvement of end-user tools, security, and infrastructure.
- Support both technical and non-technical internal users.
- Understand and help manage risks related to end-user applications.
Key Skills:
- Strong Excel and VBA skills, with a deep understanding of the Excel Object Model.
- Hands-on experience in building and supporting tactical end-user applications.
- 5–7+ years of relevant experience (desirable).
- Strong skills in planning, estimating work, and clear reporting.
- Good understanding of end-user risk and control practices.
