Summary: The Virtualisation Engineer role involves supporting the technical team in the design, development, documentation, building, and validation of the core virtual estate for the NSoIT(D) Platform. The position requires SC clearance and entails a hybrid working arrangement with two days on-site in Corsham. The role is focused on virtualisation components, including VMware technologies, and requires a minimum of three years of relevant experience. The contract is initially for six months, with a competitive daily rate.

Key Responsibilities:

• The design, development, building and validation of all virtualisation components which form part of the NSoIT(D) Platform.
• Production and review of all levels of design artefacts.
• Supporting wider NSoIT(D) system testing activities.
• Working with Service Management to resolve issues.
