Detailed Description From Employer:

At Freddie’s Flowers, we believe life is better in bloom. We deliver fresh, seasonal flowers to people’s doors, inspiring them to bring more natural beauty into their homes. Rooted in creativity and sustainability, we’re passionate about celebrating flowers in every form — and connecting with our community of flower lovers across the UK (and beyond!). From the seed of an idea we continue to flourish; we’re now a B Corp organisation. And our founding mission remains unchanged – to change the world of flowers, and to change the world with flowers.

About The Role

We’re looking for a talented & imaginative Video Content Creator to join our in-house Creative Team. You’ll be responsible for creating engaging video content — from lo-fi, authentic social clips to longer form video tutorials — that capture the heart, joy and soul of Freddie’s Flowers. This role sits at the intersection of creativity, storytelling, and craft. You’ll ideate, film, and edit content that brings the brand to life across various channels, from Instagram, TikTok & YouTube to the website and paid ads — helping us inspire, delight and grow our audience.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Create high-quality & high performing video content — for use across organic & paid social channels, as well as the website
  • Develop and pitch creative concepts that feel uniquely Freddie’s — natural, joyful, and full of character
  • Work closely with Paid Social team, responding to briefs that will test concepts & drive performance through Meta, TikTok, YouTube and GDN
  • Capture lo-fi, in-the-moment content that feels native to social platforms, as well as more polished video for campaign and brand use
  • Edit video content for multiple formats (Reels, TikToks, paid ads, hero brand films, etc.), ensuring consistency in tone, pacing, and brand feel
  • Optimise content for different platforms and audiences, staying on top of trends in video, editing styles, and social storytelling
  • Collaborate closely with the Creative Director, Brand, and Social teams to bring campaign ideas to life
  • Work closely with in-house Copy Lead to create scroll-stopping hooks & assets that capture attention within first few seconds
  • Support ad-hoc video needs for other departments (website, CRM, HR, etc.), including but not limited to capturing content at events (employee, press or customer)

Requirements

What You’ll Bring

  • 2–4 years’ experience creating and editing captivating video content, ideally for a lifestyle, DTC or creative brand
  • A strong portfolio of work showcasing your ability to create both short-form social content and polished, hi-fi video
  • Fluency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent
  • A good eye for composition, lighting and storytelling, and an understanding of what makes content resonate on TikTok and Instagram
  • A proactive, hands-on attitude: you’re just as happy shooting scrappy content on your phone as you are storyboarding and editing a hero campaign
  • Strong understanding of social media trends, formats, and performance best practices
  • Strong organisational skills with ability to juggle multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • An interest in AI and utilizing it as part of your toolkit to streamline process.
  • Effective collaborator who can communicate clearly with key stakeholders
  • An appreciation for beautiful things — especially flowers!

Benefits

  • Option to buy extra holiday days
  • Discounted flowers for friends/family
  • WFH (where applicable)
  • Learning and Development Support
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Discounted gym membership
  • Cash plan with Medicash
  • Health and wellbeing sessions with The Mind Clinic
  • Team socials and events
  • Bi-Weekly lunch
  • And Flowers!
