Summary: We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead a significant initiative within the Corporate Communications Division at HKEX, focusing on modernizing digital communications. This role involves collaboration across various business areas and managing stakeholders to enhance the digital ecosystem. The successful candidate will drive complex projects from conception to execution, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities. The position is contract-based for 12 months and requires a results-oriented professional with extensive project management experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead full-cycle project management, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery across multiple workstreams.
  • Drive collaboration across all parts of the business and with our multiple website vendors to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
  • Proactively manage risks, resolve issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Management of budget and expenditure tracking.
  • Develop business cases and cost-benefit analyses to support strategic initiatives.
  • Preparation and documentation for Steering Committee and Working Group meetings.
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagements to gather requirements and align priorities.
  • Provide regular updates and strategic insights to senior stakeholders and executive sponsors.
  • Support change management through training, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Skills:

  • Preferably experience of a digital project management role of a similar nature, familiar with stakeholder management across technical developers, UX/UI teams, content developers etc.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in project management and business analysis, ideally within financial services or client-facing digital platforms. Candidates with less experience may be considered for Assistant Vice President.
  • Proven success in leading large-scale, cross-functional projects involving internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong proficiency in project and data tools such as JIRA, MS Project, Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI)-related initiatives is a plus.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese is a plus.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support an exciting project within Corporate Communications Division, as we embark a journey to elevate our Digital Communications ecosystem.

This incumbent will modernize our websites to meet the changing needs of the market - including the full technology-stack, the user-experience and the content.

While this project sits between Corporate Communications and the IT Division, it will involve stakeholders from every area of the business to ensure the websites are a launchpad to our wider suite of customer-facing digital platforms and tools.
