Summary: Tejas Networks is seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead revenue growth across Europe for its telecom product portfolio, which includes both wireline and wireless solutions. The role involves defining go-to-market strategies, establishing customer relationships, and expanding partnerships within the telecommunications sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex sales and a strong track record with Tier-1 and Tier-2 operators. Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the regional go-to-market strategy.
- Establish and develop customer relationships from the ground up, bringing new accounts and clients across the European region.
- Deliver sustained growth across Tier-1/2 operators, alternative carriers, wholesale, enterprise, and public sector segments.
- Expand strategic partnerships with operators, integrators, and channel partners.
- Identify and qualify potential customers through research and outreach; maintain a robust pipeline.
- Deliver compelling presentations, product demos, and value propositions; negotiate and close deals to meet targets.
- Foster long-term client relationships, address queries, and ensure superior after-sales support.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities; share insights with marketing and product teams for continuous improvement.
- Prepare accurate sales reports and forecasts; analyze KPIs and recommend corrective actions.
- Partner with marketing, operations, and finance to ensure seamless order fulfilment and contribute to overall business strategy.
- Own regional P&L and deliver revenue and growth targets.

- Proven success in managing regional/multi-country revenue for large, complex deals, including framework agreements and multi-year programs.
- Strong track record selling to Tier-1/Tier-2 operators, wholesale/neutral hosts, and enterprise/private 5G buyers across Europe.
- Expertise in solution selling, RFP cycles, procurement, and European regulatory environments.
- Experience managing matrixed teams and collaborating with product, engineering, finance, legal, and delivery functions.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional European languages (German, French, Spanish, Italian) highly desirable.
- Willingness to work from major European hubs (UK, Germany, Spain, France, Poland etc.) and travel extensively across Europe.
- Executive presence with board-level communication skills; adept at negotiating complex commercial terms.
- Strong financial acumen (deal modeling, price-to-value, margin optimization, working capital).
- Deep knowledge of technologies such as Open RAN, vRAN, 5G SA, network slicing, FTTx, DWDM/OTN, SDN/NFV, SD-WAN/SASE, private 5G, and integrations with OSS/BSS and cloud ecosystems.
- Data-driven leadership: pipeline coverage ratios, win-rate analysis, cycle time reduction, forecast accuracy.
- High cultural agility; capable of operating across diverse European markets and regulatory environments.
