Summary: The Vice President Marketing role at VARITE involves leading the global marketing strategy for a professional services firm based in London, UK. Key Responsibilities:

  • Set and lead the annual global marketing strategy in collaboration with regional marketing and service line leadership.
  • Plan, execute, and manage integrated marketing activities aligned with the overall marketing strategy.
  • Develop a multi-channel content strategy, including thought leadership campaigns and newsletters.
  • Shape and execute virtual and in-person conferences, sponsorships, and hosted events.
  • Maximise brand exposure through public relations and advertising activities.
  • Manage website content and plan digital marketing campaigns with the Digital Team.
  • Develop marketing materials and sales tools in collaboration with subject matter experts.
  • Adapt marketing activities to local markets and partner with marketing leaders on PR strategy.
  • Project manage marketing activities related to new entity or geography offerings.
  • Drive brand transition and awareness efforts, including advertising campaigns and client outreach.
  • Track activities and ROI to report on performance to business and marketing leaders.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members, assigning tasks and delegating projects.
  • Maintain mailing list database in Salesforce and work on direct email marketing campaigns.
  • Manage global marketing budget, tracking expenditures and invoice reconciliation.
  • Stay updated on market trends and share insights with the marketing team and stakeholders.

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Twelve+ years of B2B marketing experience in professional services, particularly in restructuring/insolvency.

HERE'S WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Job title: Vice President Marketing

Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Work with regional marketing and service line leadership to set and lead the annual global marketing strategy and drive achievement of service line and Marketing team objectives.
  • Plan, execute and manage integrated marketing activities for the overall marketing strategy and plan, as well as day-to-day delivery of activities including but not limited to;
  • Develop a multi-channel content strategy such as annual jurisdictional and global thought leadership campaigns, reports, and monthly newsletters.
  • Shape, plan and execute virtual and in person conferences, sponsorships and hosted events, including event scope, content, communications, branding and execution.
  • Maximise exposure of company’s brand and thought leadership through public relations and advertising activities.
  • Manage content on web site and plan digital marketing campaigns with our Digital Team, including web, SEO, social media and digital advertising.
  • Develop various marketing materials, credentials, content and sales tools (e.g., service and industry focused materials). This includes working with subject matter experts and business development/sales leads to identify and translate client issues into go-to-market messages for target audiences and diverse channels.
  • Leverage marketing activities generated across the firm and adapt to local markets.
  • Partner with other marketing leaders and Communications on our PR strategy for priority markets.
  • Project manage Marketing activities related to new entity or geography offerings.
  • Drive continued brand transition and brand awareness efforts for the services line, including value propositions, advertising campaigns and client outreach materials.
  • Develop strong working relationships with service line leaders, the global Marketing team, and external suppliers to facilitate and maximize marketing efforts.
  • Track activities and ROI to report on performance to the business and Marketing team leaders.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members, assign tasks and delegate projects as needed.
  • Build and maintain mailing list database for the service lines in Salesforce and work closely with the Marketing Segmentation team on direct email marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain global Marketing budget, track expenditures and invoice reconciliation.
  • Stay abreast of the market landscape and trends, sharing learnings, best practice and insights with the Marketing team and business stakeholders.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO WIN:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Twelve+ years of B2B marketing experience ideally within professional services environments with a restructuring/insolvency focus, with a proven ability to plan and deliver activities across a broad range of channels and audiences.
  • Subject matter proficiency in the areas of: Risk Advisory, Due Diligence, Forensic Investigations, or other professional advisory services.
  • Excellent communication skills - able to listen, analyze and present complex concepts to a variety of audiences, both verbally and through clear written work.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, manage conflicting priorities, deal with ambiguity and make independent decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing, project management and organization skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, while being comfortable working with and challenging stakeholders within the team and the wider business.
