Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate a portfolio of vendors, ensuring performance against KPIs and contractual obligations.
  • Develop SMART KPIs with operational teams to measure vendor performance and value for money.
  • Chair regular vendor review meetings to assess performance and compliance.
  • Act as the primary contact for vendor-related issues, driving service improvement plans and escalating where necessary.
  • Collaborate with procurement, finance, and legal teams to maintain compliance with governance requirements.
  • Ensure timely creation of purchase orders and adherence to financial governance.
  • Generate reports on vendor performance, market trends, and improvement plans.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in vendor management or related field.
  • Experience in Telecoms, Cable, or similar industry.
  • Proven experience managing vendors delivering varied services.
  • Strong commercial acumen and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence at senior levels.

We’re looking for an experienced professional to manage a portfolio of vendors, ensuring services are fit-for-purpose, cost-effective, and aligned with ITIL best practices. This role is pivotal in driving continuous service improvement and acting as the single point of contact for vendor-related issues.

Contract Details

Rate: £300 per day (inside IR35)

Location: Reading (Hybrid – twice per week on-site)

Contract Length: 26 weeks
