Summary: The Vehicle Test Engineer role involves conducting vehicle testing and validation to ensure compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct vehicle testing and validation to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements
• Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and protocols for vehicle systems and components
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical vehicle systems and components
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement test methodologies and equipment
• Monitor and report on test results, including issue management to achieve People, Quality, Velocity, and Cost targets
• Develop equipment specifications and installation requirements
• Work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders to drive DFM and best manufacturing practices

Key Skills:

• Experience in data acquisition systems and data analysis for vehicle testing
• Good understanding of vehicle testing processes and production
• Experience of leading quality concern resolution with tools such as 8D, 5why, fishbone diagrams
• 6 Sigma project leadership experience
• Degree or equivalent experience required
