Vehicle Mechanic/Apprenticeship Coach (MoD)

Summary: The Vehicle Mechanic/Apprenticeship Coach role is a fixed-term contract position for 52 weeks, aimed at qualified vehicle mechanics who wish to transition from hands-on work to a coaching and training role. The position is based in the South West and offers a combination of remote work and travel to various sites. Key Responsibilities:

• Train and develop apprentices in vehicle mechanics.
• Provide guidance and support to future generations of vehicle mechanics.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations of apprentices' skills and progress.
• Collaborate with other trainers and stakeholders to enhance training programs.
• Travel to various sites as required for training purposes.

Key Skills:

• Qualified Vehicle Mechanic with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Experience in training or coaching roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to assess and evaluate technical skills.
• Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Salary (Rate): £36,400 yearly
