Key Responsibilities:
- Operate vehicle chassis dynamo-meters and execute emissions test cycles to WLTP standards.
- Conduct Real Drive Emissions testing on-road and analyze emissions data.
- Prepare and maintain vehicles or components for testing, following established procedures and engineering manuals.
- Identify and evaluate concerns, liaising with Test Engineers to ensure accurate and timely results.
- Set up instrumentation and utilize diagnostic tools to support testing and data acquisition.
- Ensure facility and instrumentation calibration, maintaining adherence to quality standards.
Key Skills:
- Experience with emissions or test systems.
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in mechanical, electrical, or automotive engineering, ideally supported by a recognized apprenticeship.
- Strong practical skills in mechanical or electrical disciplines, with the ability to fault-find and assemble/disassemble vehicle components.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
