Summary: Expleo is seeking a Vehicle Dynamics Senior Engineer to lead the development and calibration of Stability Control Systems and Driveline functions for advanced vehicle platforms. This role offers a long-term opportunity to engage in automotive innovation within a high-performing engineering environment. The position is based in Warwickshire and requires expertise in automotive chassis engineering and vehicle dynamics. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery and calibration of Stability Control Systems (SCS), ABS and Driveline functions across vehicle programmes
- Support Product Owners in system development, tuning, validation and road release activities
- Carry out vehicle testing, calibration and validation manoeuvres across varied conditions and terrains
- Coordinate software integration and releases to internal/external stakeholders
- Perform fault analysis, identify issues and implement effective solutions
- Plan and support global test activities, including proving ground and overseas testing
- Produce technical reports, trackers and status updates to support programme delivery
Key Skills:
- Experience of automotive chassis engineering and vehicle dynamics gained in an OEM or First Tier supplier environment
- High levels of experience at tuning Stability Control Systems, Driveline Distribution, Traction Control and ABS features at OEM level
- Appropriate levels of driver training and skill required for limit driving in all Mu conditions and surfaces
- Experience of most major European proving grounds including Idiada, Nardo, Nurburgring
- Experience of Off-Road driving techniques and traction management systems
- Excellent team-working, organisation and communication skills able to adapt into a multi-disciplinary environment
- Experience with Vector and INCA toolset
- Self-motivated and able to work to a high standard with minimum supervision
- Commitment, flexibility and ability to work under pressure and beyond normal working hours when required
