Summary: The Vehicle Builder role involves assembling, fitting, and finishing components of rail vehicles based on engineering specifications. Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, fit, and finish components of rail vehicles according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Measure, cut, and install lino flooring in various sections of rail cars, ensuring precise and clean application.
- Prepare subfloors, apply adhesives, and ensure proper bonding and finish of flooring materials.
- Work collaboratively with other trades such as electricians, carpenters, and upholsterers as part of the vehicle build process.
- Perform inspections to ensure work meets quality and safety standards.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
Key Skills:
- Skilled in mechanical build.
- Previous experience in working with and laying lino.
- Ability to read and follow instructions and drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Background in Rail.

Due to an increase in workload, we are looking for a Vehicle Builder to join a client on an ongoing contract basis.
