Summary: The role of VCF Consultant – SC Cleared involves providing technical consultancy and hands-on deployment support for VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF9) and NSX in a greenfield engagement. The consultant will work closely with architects, customers, and suppliers to implement and configure the VCF9 platform. This position requires active SC clearance and strong expertise in VCF9 and NSX, focusing on delivering high-quality solutions in a hybrid working environment. The contract duration is three months with an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of VCF9 greenfield deployments, implementing and configuring the platform in line with agreed designs.
- Contribute to design and requirements workshops, providing practical input from a deployment and delivery perspective.
- Produce and maintain deployment documentation and workbooks, including build guides, configuration steps and as-built documentation.
- Carry out installation, configuration and validation of VCF9 components, including NSX, ensuring alignment with standards and best practice.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across VCF and NSX components during deployment and early life support.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers and third-party suppliers to ensure smooth and coordinated delivery.
- Provide technical guidance to customer teams and support knowledge transfer where required.

- Proven experience delivering VCF deployments in a consultant or engineer capacity.
- Strong hands-on experience with VCF9 and NSX.
