Summary: The VB.NET Developer role is a contract position based in Surrey, focusing on supporting a large-scale transformation programme. The developer will be responsible for designing WinForms-based front-end forms and developing robust back-end code in VB.NET. This position offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative team to modernize critical systems and contribute to a high-profile project. The contract duration is 5 months, with potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop WinForms-based front-end forms.
• Develop robust back-end code using VB.NET for new application development.
• Collaborate with team members to modernize and streamline critical systems.
• Engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Implement DevOps practices, secure coding, and unit testing.
• Utilize SQL databases (Oracle and/or SQL Server) in development tasks.

Key Skills:

• Strong commercial experience in VB.NET development.
