Summary: The role of Band 7 Vascular Sonographer/Vascular Technologist involves conducting and reporting on a variety of vascular ultrasound examinations independently. The position is a short-term locum assignment based in the Isle of Man, requiring a confident and experienced professional. Job Description: We are seeking a Band 7 Vascular Sonographer or Vascular Technologist for a short-term locum assignment. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently and experienced in performing and reporting a comprehensive range of vascular ultrasound examinations.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently conduct and report on vascular ultrasound scans, including:
    • Carotid duplex
    • DVT studies
    • Arterial and venous mapping
    • AAA screening
    • ABPI/TBPI measurements
  • Maintain high diagnostic and reporting standards
  • Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
