Key Responsibilities:

Verification and Validation Engineer: Company: Digisourced (DCG IT Ltd) Capacity: Acting as an Employment Business Location: [Stafford], UK (Hybrid – 2 days on-site) (The successful candidate will be engaged via an approved FCSA/Professional Passport accredited payroll provider) Assignment Description: Digisourced is representing a global leader in Energy Technology in their search for a high caliber Verification and Validation (V&V) Engineer for a contract assignment. This role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity and reliability of HVDC Control Systems by overseeing the full testing lifecycle of critical Controls Software. You will be responsible for ensuring that complex software architectures are built correctly and meet stringent project requirements. This assignment requires a leader who can navigate the intersection of power electronics and software engineering, managing everything from lab setups in RSCAD to leading high-stakes Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) with international clients.

Assignment Responsibilities: Test Architecture: Design and develop comprehensive test cases and procedures derived from complex software requirements. Execution & Reporting: Lead the execution of test procedures, providing structured analysis and clear reporting of findings to multi-disciplinary engineering teams. System Integration: Provide technical expertise for RTDS lab setups, including AC/DC interface requirements and power system modelling in RSCAD. Stakeholder Management: Take the lead during Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), acting as the technical point of contact for client verification. Verification Scope: Methodology: V-Model, Agile/Scrum, TDD. Simulation Tools: RSCAD, PSCAD, MATLAB/Simulink, PSS/E.
