Summary: PE Global is seeking a Validation Engineer for a 12-month contract with an industrial manufacturing client in Peterborough. The role involves creating test plans, executing validation tests, and communicating technical information to various stakeholders. Candidates must have a relevant engineering degree and experience in engine validation and testing. The position requires a strong understanding of customer needs and the ability to support other engineers and teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed test planning, execution of testing activities, analysis of results, and documentation with clear recommendations for the relevant process partners.
- Carry out complex engine validation tests.
- Evaluate products and processes; perform needs analysis and initiate ideas.
- Keep up to date on new technologies or develop new technologies.
- Communicate technical information to a range of stakeholders.
- Support and advise other engineers, managers, marketing personnel, dealers, customers, and suppliers; develop and maintain keen understanding of internal and external customers’ needs.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in an accredited Engineering curriculum.
- Experience in validation of engines and engine systems.
- Experienced in the use of testbed software, calibration tools, emissions measuring equipment, and test data logging systems.
- Hands-on engine testing and problem-solving experience.
- Previous leadership experience (direct or indirect).
- Knowledge of Project Management methods and processes.
Salary (Rate): £30.55 hourly

PE Global is recruiting a Validation Engineer for our industrial manufacturing client based in Peterborough. The role is an initial 12 months contract. The rate for this role is £22.51 PAYE or £30.55 Umbrella p/h.

- Create detailed test planning, execution of testing activities, analysis of results, and documentation with clear recommendations for the relevant process partners.

Requirements:
