Summary: The People Systems and Insight Manager role is a permanent, full-time position focused on enhancing HR systems and data governance within the People Services Team. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the evolution and adoption of people systems, modernizing HR and L&OD technology.
- Ensure continuous improvement and alignment of people systems with organizational needs.
- Act as the people expert for HRIS (Resource Link), data governance, analytics, and reporting.
- Create compelling people insights to support evidence-based decision-making across the organization.
- Build trusted relationships with end users, operational managers, and IT.
- Translate organizational needs into efficient systems with a self-serve model.
- Attend team meetings at the head office as required.
Key Skills:
- Significant experience and development knowledge of HRIS (Resource Link) and other people systems.
- Proven success in creating evidence-based decision methodologies and data strategies.
- Excellent understanding of system infrastructure, regulations, GDPR, and data governance principles.
- Experience in leading system configuration, upgrades, integrations, and UAT processes.
- Project and change management experience with stakeholder engagement.
- Proven experience of leading a high-performing team.
- Degree or equivalent experience in HR, IT, data analysis, or related field.

The role
We’re seeking an experience and innovative a People Systems and Insight Manager join our People Services Team. The team are focused on providing a simple, efficient and effective service to the organisation, enabling us to support our residents.
This is an exciting new role in the People and Culture Leadership team, which will enable the achievement of our People and Culture Strategy objectives through our people systems and data. Working closely with the wider People and Culture team, IT, operational managers and employees to shape and influence system-enabled solutions, value for money and best practice people processes and services.
You will lead the evolution and adoption of people systems, modernising how we use HR and L&OD technology to support the operational activities and organisational infrastructure. You’ll be focussed on continuous improvement, always looking for opportunities to help us work smarter, not harder, ensuring our people systems are aligned to organisational needs, delivering value and exceptional employee experiences.
The People Systems and Insight Manager will act as the people expert for HRIS (Resource Link), data governance, analytics, reporting and technology in the People and Culture department. You’ll create compelling people insight to support an evidence-based decision-making culture at all operational levels across the business, ensuring strong governance, assurance and continuous improvement.
Communication is key, building trusted relationships with the end users, operational managers and IT. You’ll understand the organisational need, translating this into efficient systems, with an intuitive, self serve model in mind.
While the role is home based the successful candidate will be required to attend team meetings including those that may take place at our head office in Birmingham as required.
