Summary: The V&V Test Engineer role requires a highly skilled individual with a strong background in the Defence sector to work in a fast-paced environment. The position involves responsibilities related to verification and validation testing, including script modifications and stakeholder interaction. The contract is for 6 months with a likelihood of extension and requires on-site presence two days a week in Bristol. The role is classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct verification and validation testing in the Defence sector.
• Modify test scripts to prevent unnecessary bugs.
• Utilize Windows administration skills for security hardening.
• Engage with stakeholders and produce test reports for Security SMEs.
• Utilize Jira x/ray for test management.
• Understand Linux systems for testing purposes.

Key Skills:

• Experience with VVRM's (VCRI, VCRM) and IVVQ or V&V experience.
• Strong Windows administration knowledge (GPO, Firewalls, PowerShell).
• Ability to recognize and modify incorrect test scripts.
• Previous senior/lead experience with stakeholder interaction.
• Jira x/ray knowledge.
• Good understanding of Linux.
