UX/UI Designer - Contract

Summary: The role of UX/UI Designer is a contract position with a well-established online healthcare company based in Leeds, requiring one day per week in the office. The designer will work on a variety of projects across human and pet health, focusing on end-to-end customer journeys and ensuring compliance within a regulated industry. The ideal candidate should possess strong UX thinking and polished UI execution skills, along with experience in e-commerce and healthcare. This position is outside IR35 and offers a competitive daily rate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working across 45+ live projects with an additional 35+ in the roadmap.
• Designing end-to-end customer journeys for web and app, including prescriptions and health services.
• Bringing strong UX thinking and polished UI execution to every brief.
• Navigating a regulated industry with an eye for compliance in design and CTAs.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Skills:

• Strong background in UX/UI design, specifically in e-commerce and healthcare.
• Experience working in a regulated or compliance-heavy environment.
• Agency-side experience is a benefit.
• Proficient in Adobe Suite and Figma.
• Ability to handle high volumes of work while maintaining quality.
• Great personality and attitude for a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
