RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Austin, TX that is seeking a UX/UI Accessibility Expert who will partner with the county's design team to finalize layouts and ensure all designs meet accessibility and usability standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Refine Figma comps into production-ready designs
  • Collaborate with county designers to align on brand and design standards
  • Ensure WCAG 2.2 AA compliance and USWDS design system standards
  • Provide responsive design specifications for desktop and mobile
  • Support design reviews and sign-offs with stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS:
* 4+ years of experience in UI/UX design with a portfolio of accessible web projects
* Expert in Figma and responsive design principles
* Deep knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2, USWDS, and Section 508 compliance
* Strong understanding of designing for CMS-driven sites

Nice-to-Haves:
* Experience with Drupal theming
* Familiarity with state/local government web standards

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
