Kforce has a client that is seeking a UX Strategist in Saint Louis, MO.
Core Responsibilities:
* UX Strategist will work directly with Product and Business Leads to define long-term UX strategy for core products, ensuring design efforts drive measurable business impact
* Act as a lead in the UX space, providing guidance, mentorship, and constructive feedback to other designers, helping to elevate the overall quality and consistency of the team's output
* Champion the adoption and evolution of the design system, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and a unified experience across all touchpoints
* Can develop concepts from ideation to execution, with strong emphasis on product focus and data-driven decision-making
* Comfortable experimenting and iterating on ideas, leveraging web patterns and design frameworks to solve complex problems
* As a UX Strategist, you will welcome criticism, feedback, and can expertly defend design decisions for the good of the product and customer, acting as the voice of the user
* Love validating product designs with customers and utilizing qualitative and quantitative data to inform strategic direction
* Create wireframes, prototypes, and final designs, ensuring they meet a high bar for detail, accessibility, and user-centered design principles
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of experience in interaction design, user interface design, and user experience research, or a related field
* Proven experience leading or mentoring a team of designers and driving strategic UX initiatives across multiple product features
* Expert proficiency with Figma is required, including experience using and contributing to a centralized design system
* Strong command of visual design, interaction design, and information architecture, with a portfolio showcasing complex, shipped digital products and strategic thinking
* Extensive working knowledge of UI and Web Patterns and experience implementing and governing a design system
* Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Stakeholders, and Engineering
* Comfortable leading user research efforts and utilizing data to inform and validate strategic decisions
* Demonstrated ability to communicate and prototype interactions rapidly at all levels of fidelity
Nice to have:
* Experience in the Online Learning industry, especially professional education, or Ecommerce is a significant plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
