Summary: The UX/Service Designer role involves working with a global bank to enhance business and operational efficiencies through user-centered design. The position requires a strong portfolio and expertise in creating user workflows and service blueprints. The designer will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to develop and validate design outputs. This is a hybrid role based in Central London, requiring two days on-site per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organise and lead workshops to gather high-level user requirements, define user journeys, and create service blueprints.
- Develop user flows, layout anatomies, and concept designs based on user journeys and business requirements.
- Produce low-fidelity and high-fidelity designs across multiple projects, validating them with business stakeholders and end users.
- Work closely with business analysts, developers, and QA teams to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
- Collaborate with the UX Lead to establish and refine design strategies for each project.
Key Skills:
- Experience as a UX/Service Designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating user-centred design expertise.
- Proven experience with user-centred design methodologies, including the ability to explain design decisions effectively.
- Expertise in creating user workflows, diagrams, and service blueprints.
- Stakeholder collaboration skills, including experience engaging with SMEs, business leaders, and development teams.
- Comfortable working in cross-functional teams, contributing independently and alongside other UX professionals.
- Proficiency with UX design tools, such as Figma, Sketch, and Axure.
- Passion for human cognition and behaviour, with a focus on enhancing user experiences.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively in a corporate/banking environment.
